Framed Hanging Vase - Farmhouse DIY

Today I'm sharing a quick and simple DIY decorating idea.  These simple framed hanging vases add a fun farmhouse touch to our living room.  I filled mine with dried lavender for Fall.

To begin I gathered my supplies, all of which I had on hand from previous projects.  You will need an empty frame, jute twine, any kind of vase or mason jar, and something to fill your vase with.  Fresh flowers would be fun in the Spring and maybe dried leaves or cotton stems in the Fall.  The possibilities are endless!

First I tied one end of the jute twine to the neck of the vase and began wrapping it around.

Next I threaded the twine through the saw tooth hanger on the back of the frame and then tied another knot on the opposite side of the vase.

The last step was to hang the finished product on the wall and fill it with dried lavender.  That's it.  Super simple!

I made two of these and hung them on each side of our big picture window in our living room.

This project inspired me to make a few more changes in our living room.  I changed around the furniture layout and added a couple of new throw pillows.  I'll try to share the rest of this space soon! Enjoy your weekend!

Have a BLESSED day!
